NuNu had her babies!

Yep! Friday April 29th, 2016 she went into labor. It was very stressful for me as she howled and cried out while the first one was stuck in the birth canal.
I really thought I was going to need to rush her to the vet.

The first two were huge. I had to help her dry them off after she ate the birth part. And I had to do this with each kitten after. The third was sooooooo tiny! I didn't think it had a chance at living. The last two were also big.
The very last one looks like April, the face of The Cat Bin and who just turned 15 yrs old!

Here's a video from Friday:

Stay tuned for more cuteness! Oh, it's been almost 72 hrs and the little black kitten is hanging in there!
There is a donate button on the right if you would like to help with food, litter, ingredients for kitten glop and medical expenses. If you would like for ALL the money you send to reach this little family and the other black kittens, please bypass the donate button and send it as "Family and Friends" (from Paypal) to: thecatbin@yahoo.com No fees will be taken out. And as always, Thank You!

Part Two

I'm so sorry not to have updated by now. I wasn't feeling well and then the kittens came!

So I go back to get the kittens under the house and their mom and one other cat from this lady. I had caught one kitten when I heard food being thrown out.
I crawled from under the house to see the husband walking away. I ran to the fence and hollered to him that his wife was waiting to feed them until after I caught the kittens.
He said he didn't know anything about that. Needless to say I was pissed.

After I had to crawl on wet dirt, sometimes going back to my Army days of belly crawling, getting my hand bitten over and over by one of the kittens (who I have since nicknamed Mad Dog), finally scooping up the 3 kittens underneath, I walked over to this woman's house and they had SHUT THE DAMN DOOR!

I spent so much time with this crazy off the rails bitch only to have her NOT ALLOW me to get the kittens mother!
AND wasted so much time that PeeWee MOVED her kittens and I've not been able to find neither!

That's it. The stress of that situation floored me so much that for two days I couldn't do anything. My body just wouldn't let me.

So now I only have the kittens, NuNu and her newborn kittens.

Thank you to all who are interested in these rescues and if you can help there is a Donate button to the right. Or simply send a donation as "Friends and Family" to thecatbin@yahoo.com so these babies can receive ALL of your donation.
I keep all receipts of food, litter & medical attention which I post pics of from time to time.
Thank you!

Kitty kitty update

Just a really quick one. I will be addressing part two of the story below, tomorrow.

I had two anonymous small donations and THANK YOU! It will cover litter for the kittens and NuNu for a couple of weeks. And a HUGE whopping THANK YOU to Lynette! I can't express the gratitude I feel for your help.

Here are a couple videos. I should have another up tomorrow or at least some pictures.

Here is NuNu. One of the most precious and loving cats I've had the pleasure of rescuing.

And here are the babies, CareBear, Drano, Hornet & Mad Dog.

Thank you again for the monetary help. I know the "Donate" button is easy. But if you sign into PayPal and send a donation as "family or friend" to thecatbin@yahoo.com, PayPal won't take any fee's and the kitties will get it all.

Part One of the story on rescuing the kittens & pregnant cat

Here we are, 2016, and a fresh batch of KITTENS! Where did they come from? Read on.
Back in December a tiny, malnourished kitten showed up at my house. I couldn't touch her of course but she showed up faithfully each day to eat. Because she was so small I named her PeeWee.
As she grew I noticed last month she was showing a belly. OH NO! Not knowing how far along she could be I just kept an eye on her. Sometimes I'd have to go looking for her to feed her and when I couldn't find her last Saturday April 9th, I thought she could have had her kittens.
But then I couldn't find her Sunday or Monday. So on Tuesday I went searching. I looked in every building in the neighborhood and crawled under houses. Nothing. I had one last place to look and one of the neighbors went with me.
I was appalled at what I found.

A woman had been feeding cats, lots of them, WITHOUT spaying or neutering! I mean TONS of cats. The above neighbor allowed me to go into her mother's back yard (beside the woman's house with all the cats) to look for PeeWee. No PeeWee but I spotted kittens at the entrance to the basement door. I was able to catch one before the other's skedaddled under the house. When I got the kitten home I started calling it Care Bear. It is black and within 24 hrs. the little booger stole a friend's heart. He is disabled and not yet on his feet. So I promised I would do what I could to keep him until his disability came through. Here is a pic of him and there is a video up on the youtube channel.

And he has commandeered my chair:

So I went back to the lady with all the cats and mentioned a very pregnant cat I saw. Her and her husband both said "Take them all" and I said I only wanted the pregnant one. Well then the woman went back and forth and finally said I could take her. So I went back the next day, Wed. 13th, and the woman didn't know if she was going to let me have her. After promising no harm would come to her and in fact I would get her spayed and KEEP her after the kittens were gone, she finally grabbed the cat, the cat resisted, she pulled on the cat's tail and then leg when it tried to get away (now at this point I'm about to slug this woman), the cat got away. Then the woman tried to tell me the cat was afraid of the carrier and me. I kept my cool and politely asked if she could try again. That once she has the cat I would take the cat from her and put it in the carrier.
So once she was able to pick up the cat again she refused to let me take her, instead opting to dump her into the carrier. I had to tell myself "Breath Michelle, just breath" because once again I wanted to slug her.
Instead, I asked about the other cats in the yard and who could possibly be the mother to the kittens. She said it was a black cat named Skittles.
I asked if I could take her when I came back for the other kittens. Oh my gosh! One would think I was Charles Manson! She finally agreed but only if I agreed to also take a cat she had inside who was in heat, a two year old. I told her I'd be back Sunday to get Skittles and this other cat. That I would try to raise the money to have BOTH spayed and return them to her.
Here is a pic of the pregnant cat I picked up and her video can also be found on the youtube channel. Her name is NuNu.

Don't you know that AFTER I get NuNu all settled in, I go outside and hear a familiar cry. PEEWEE! And just like that she reappears.
Now I don't want to get all preachy or anything but I felt God purposely didn't allow me to find PeeWee because he intended for me to find these other kittens and NuNu. Believe or not. But I don't think it's coincidental the moment I get NuNu to my house and find those kittens that all of a sudden PeeWee shows back up!

I'll give an update this weekend on Care Bear's siblings, their mom Skittles and the other cat I'm supposed to get.
